Hey friends! I'm sorry that its been so long since I've posted. It's a busy life in the world of animal activism. I'm inspired to share with you my latest plan to foster a pup on Valentine's day. Kai and I have been on this crazy schedule since Hurricane Harvey of fostering a dog every few months and then taking a break for a few months. Its a lot of work and adjustments for us both! We were so happy with our sleepover adventure with Gretta and our success in finding her a fur-ever home with a lovely couple and a fellow fur-pal! We are now ready share our home with a new foster dog and what better time to show our love for animal world than to open up our home to a dog in need on Valentine's day!
I've been following Austin Pet's Alive foster google group and there are so many dogs in need of safe loving respite care! It's truly heartbreaking and so difficult to decide who to open our home to! They have several categories of need: dogs on the euthanasia list, those in need of medical or hospice care, puppies recovering from Parvo, those currently in a foster that need a different foster home, and dogs that are in the APA shelter waiting for their first foster placement. So... I am sure you can see my dilemma here! Who will be the lucky dog? I really just want to buy some land and save them all.
So if the stars align and everything matches up (and makes sense) what kinda of dog should we try to save? Help us decide! We want to hear what you think...
