Hi Everyone!

Posting an update from Audrey from Spanky Project USA:

Spanky Project Disaster Relief update:Terry Shewchuk, founder of the Spanky Project, changed his flight from Sept 27th to Sept 20th. His original plan was to arrive a few days before the start of our mass spay/neuter clinic but the animals of Cuba need help as soon as possible. Our Veterinary Medical Director, Michael Belovich, has placed a large order for antibiotics, pain meds, parasite meds, and anti-diarrhea medication as well as supplies to administer the meds. Terry will be picking up the order in Toronto in a few days and these precious supplies will be winging their way to Cuba in a week. Thanks to all who responded to our plea for disaster funds, help is on the way!

We have made contact with some of our team members in Cuba. One in Havana reported 50 cm of water in their house but for the most part, everyone is safe with no real damage to their homes. However, there is no electricity and won't be until Wednesday or Thursday.

Terry says, "Thank you to those who have made a donation to this new "mission".Donate if you can. Share and spread the word if you can't donate at this time. This added week required me to take a "Leave of Absence" from my day job at Highline Mushrooms. I thank them for their support."
