No Limits, No Borders.

Thanks to Love Pet Hospital in Austin we have 150 surgical gloves to take to the team in Cuba! #GoAustin

Kim and I are strategizing how we're packing.  Kai helped me pack the gloves in my suitcase here in Austin and we still have some space! #winkwink We're focusing on lightweight, small items like collars, leashes, flea/tick medicine, dewormers, that can be found on Amazon. A few of you have donated small towels and blankets and we still need those too. The deadline is approaching fast! I'm leaving Austin in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, I've also been helping Spanky with their social media and new Spanky Project USA FB page. Likes appreciated! At Spanky everyone has real jobs, so they're strictly volunteers (like me). No fancy marketing team, just a whole lotta of really big hearts.

On a more personal note, I saw Wonder Woman this weekend and I thought about this project and how I decided to take it on despite all the nay sayers. I even had flat out disapproval from someone really close to me. But,  I also remember the words of encouragement from others (you know who you are). I refuse to believe that I can't make a difference.  And like Wonder Woman...she fought even when everyone said no, she allowed her heart to tell her what's right when everyone around her said no.  I've learned that my love has no limits or borders and I hope yours does too.

Thanks for reading....and remember, "Only Love Can Truly Save the World."

~ xoxo, Shelly, Kai and Kim
